Membership
All Oregon chapters are 100% chapters meaning that in order to belong to a local chapter, membership to SHRM is required. The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management. The Society serves the needs of HR professionals and advances the interests of the HR profession. Founded in 1948, SHRM has more than 225,000 members in over 125 countries, and more than 575 affiliated chapters.
Once you’ve joined SHRM check out your local chapter!
The purpose of chapters is to provide a local forum for your personal and professional development; provide an opportunity to develop your leadership, managerial, public speaking and group decision-making skills; provide a local networking arena; and to provide a focus for legislative attention to local, state, and national human resource management issues. Chapters are available throughout the state. Membership requirements and fees are specific to each chapter.
Each chapter's website below has an "Events and Meeting" tab that displays scheduled programs associated with each chapter.
